Hey,I’m Leah. Proud owner of Sandbar.

Hi, I’m Leah — the proud owner of Sandbar Nashville, mom of three wild and wonderful kids, and wife to an amazing husband who’s supported me every step of the way. My journey in hospitality started back in high school in Evansville, Indiana, working fast food jobs and realizing pretty quickly that I had a gift for connecting with people and building a crowd.

From Logan’s peanuts to high-end wine at Amerigo, to short skirts and 100+ beers at Flying Saucer, I’ve worn just about every hat in this industry — and loved every chaotic, character-building minute. I’ve bartended, trained, marketed, sold beer for breweries, and even started a social media brand before influencers were a thing (shoutout to my “HoppyBeerGal” Twitter days).

In 2018, I took a leap and signed a lease for a quirky little shipping container bar in Nashville. The container was already there — I didn’t build it — but the vibe, brand, concept, and heart? That’s all me. I created Sandbar Nashville to feel like a casual beach hangout, with real-juice drinks, dog-friendly space, and laid-back fun that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

We’ve grown every year — debt-free — by focusing on quality, community, and good energy. And while weather (and, let’s be real, global pandemics) haven’t always been kind, we’ve built something one-of-a-kind that I’m incredibly proud of.

Sandbar isn’t just a bar — it’s an experience. And I’m so grateful you’re part of it.
